We are entering the home stretch and the pace has again increased.
Argo's crew arrived in Thailand and made major headway in building
the spars and working with the shipyard to fair the deck. The interior is
being installed while the hull topside contiue to be faired and preped for
final Painting.

February 2006 - Arrival of the Crew
Late February 2006 - Plans, Contracts, and the Beginning of our Global Program
On February 23, Argo's masts went up for a test fit. A large
crane lifted each one and the crew onboard guided them into place. After
measurements were taken over the next couple of days, the masts were taken
down to be rigged and painted. The fairing process on deck and topsides is
almost complete!

March 2006 - Primer
Argo received her first coat of primer on the topsides earlier in the month, with more coats following on parts of the deck in the past week. Great progress has been made in other areas, including: fitting of deck hatches and prisms, ceilings and walls in the cabins/heads, outlets, reading lights, and fans in the cabins, doors on cabins, and galley counters being fitted.

Late March 2006 - Final Coats of Paint
The end of March saw final painting on the topsides, booms,
and masts. The galley and salon are almost complete, as is the electrical
wiring throughout the boat. The rudder was welded into it's final place.
All areas of construction are preparing for launch in the near future.
